Many of our patients call our office with medical questions. When a call comes into our office, information is taken from the patient and relayed to the nurse designated to handle incoming calls. The nurse consults with the physician regarding the specific problem, question, or symptom. The physician’s instructions for care are then relayed back to the patient. It is our policy that the physician has the patient’s medical record available for review when consulting over the phone. This requirement may at times cause delays, but helps ensure quality medical care for our patients. Phone calls are returned as quickly as possible and all will be returned the day they are received.
